​2011 - Present | Bachelors of Architecture | Minor in Spanish Literature

 

I currently attend the University of Texas at Austin and I am studying for a Bachelors of Architecture.  A five-year professional degree, the Bachelor of Architecture features a rigorous design-oriented curriculum with a solid foundation in technology and the history of architecture. The curriculum prepares students for the challenges and demands of professional practice.

 

Study Abroad - Italy

​August 2014 - December 2014| Santa Chiara Study Center | Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy

 

 A semester at the Santa Chiara Study Center in Tuscany, approximately an hour from Florence. The program allows for an intensive study of design, 

architectural history, and visual communication while traveling throughout Italy.

National Organization for Minority Architecture Students  

September 2011-Current                          

President (Current) ,Vice President (2012-2013), Parliamentarian (2011-2012)

 

·      Lead during club meetings and events, organize and arrange service/ social events, create fundraising opportunities, hosted design competitions such as Napkins for NOMAS, designed the club T-Shirt

·      Established a relationship with local minority schools through service projects such as the Mendez Mural Project, Box City, and Explore UT.

·      Participated in volunteer events, attended local firm tours, member of the design committee for the annual Beaux Arts Ball.
